Celebrating Primary Care

The following data has been produced showing how Primary Care has coped and is coping with demand during this Pandemic. Click here to see data.

I think you will agree that we are all working hard to maintain services during these unprecedented times.

Please help us to help you – our telephone lines are extremely busy but we are here – please do not give up if you do not get through at the first attempt. We do not have a queuing system on our telephones as this is even more frustrating and time consuming for you. There are several ways to access your surgery – such as on line services; e-consultations; 111 and the NHS App.  You can also seek advice from your Pharmacy and for minor ailments or injuries the Treatment Centre is open at the St Marys site.

Please do not attend A&E at QA Hospital unless you have spoken to 111 first or are advised to go there by a clinician.

Our staff are here to help you, but may not always be able to offer you exactly what you want – however they can offer options and they will ask you the nature of your problem so that they can navigate you to the best service for your needs.

Demand is currently exceeding capacity on some days, but please be polite to our staff – we will not tolerate abusive or aggressive behaviour.

Thank you for your continued support.
